The DFW Branch of the GreatIfe Alumni Association is happy to provide annual scholarships to the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria students.

Scholarship Applicant Eligibility and Information

1. Applicants must be enrolled and on track to complete and obtain a Bachelor's degree from the University

2. Applicants must be in good academic standing (no less than a 3.0 overall grade-point average on a 5.0 scale)

3. Applicants must have completed and passed all registered 100 Level courses

4. The scholarship is renewable for a total of two (2) years in the duration of participants’ academic program through re-application

5. The scholarship amount may vary from year to year and will be disbursed at the beginning of the fall semester

6. The Association reserves the right to withdraw the scholarship award if the requirements stipulated above are not met or the participants' character comes under question

7. The Association reserves the right to withhold the scholarship in any given year if a suitable candidate is not identified

8. All submitted documents remain the property of the association
